On Thursday, November 21, Mahant Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, located in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, initiated a grand foot procession with the message of Sanatan Hindu unity. This procession is being organized from Bageshwar Dham to Orchha, witnessing a massive gathering of devotees. Participants from various states, including Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and even Nepal, joined the procession, turning National Highway 39 completely saffron.
The primary aim of the procession is to eliminate caste-based discrimination and unite all Hindus. The journey began with a flag-hoisting ceremony, the national anthem, and a collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa. Following this, Bundeli artists showcased their folk arts, adding an atmosphere of devotion and cultural celebration to the event.
